Every divorce or family court matter is different, so the amount of time and legal services necessary to properly represent our clients vary from case to case. The fee structure is based upon the time spent on your matter as well as the legal services necessary to work toward your preferred outcome. For example, contested matters (matters where the parties do not agree and a trial is necessary) are more costly than uncontested matters (where no court appearances are required). A retainer for uncontested matters starts at $3500 and our retainers for simple contested matters range from $3500 to more complex matters at $10,000 or more.
