Biography

Dean Sallah, Partner, is an experienced trial attorney who has practiced exclusively in the area of Matrimonial and Family Law for the past 26 years. Mr. Sallah received his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University in 1996 and is founding partner of Sallah & Fig Law, P.L.L.C.

Mr. Sallah has litigated all aspects of every type of matrimonial case in Suffolk, Nassau, Queens, Brooklyn and New York counties. Mr. Sallah is fully familiar with the nature and quality of legal services necessary to prosecute and defend any type of Matrimonial and Family Court action – from the simple to the complex.

Mr. Sallah recognizes that with compassion and expertise most Matrimonial and Family Law matters can be successfully resolved by way of settlement, without the need of an expensive trial. However, for those cases that cannot be settled, he remains a trial lawyer first and represents his clients through the trial process with the necessary experience and zealousness required to bring the case to a successful conclusion. Indeed, on numerous occasions, Mr. Sallah has had clients referred to him by other law firms to handle the trial for their client’s cases.

Mr. Sallah is also an experienced Appellate attorney and has successfully briefed and argued over 50 appeals over the past 25 years, all of which have appeared in the New York Law Journal and other publications.

Mr. Sallah is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Suffolk County Bar Association.
